About Us

Like food, family is our passion.

Zahir’s full menu experience – like his Shaksuka for Two – gives a clear insight into how we do things… a little extra. From the small, delightful detail to that food memory that leaves you a little unhinged, we go over the top and then climb out from underneath it.

Zahir Salie is no stranger to Sydney’s culinary scene, having honed his skills at prominent establishments Hugos, Yalla, Mint, Shuk and more recently The Grumpy Baker.

“The wealth of knowledge I have from working alongside such inspiring and talented chefs has given me the confidence to bring together Middle-Eastern and French food influences, and create something that is really uniquely ‘us’ in bakery form,” says Zahir.

And he’s throwing his full force at it and making it family, creating an institution on his own terms, alongside his wife, Suzannah. Cornucopia Bakery is just that; a place that delicately finds the perfect balance between tradition and expression. A seat at the family table.

Everything is made onsite at Naremburn, pies, pastries, croissants, whole cakes, delicious vegetarian offerings, sweet treats, with jars of house jams and local honey. Zahir’s shakshuka and family-sized frozen meals take the Cornucopia flavour home to your own kitchen, a treat your own family is sure to savour.

For that soiree masterpiece or sparkly moment, do place an order.
Cornucopia is sure to reward.
